Everywhere I lay my eyes in My Space. I vowed on December 31, 2008 that in the upcoming year I would surround myself with only items that I love and have made the trip on Saturday mornings to the Kroger discount bucket to spend my allotted $10/week on flowers (well it's actually every 2 weeks) but the quote below embodies my mantra for this year. Also I posted pics of the flowers around my house even the ones that are dying find a place to brighten up my day.
My daughter and I are also trying to release our inner artists so everywhere the eye can see is our artwork. Enjoy.

p.s.: I will try to be a better blogger just adjusting to changing my hours, forcing myself to enjoy more downtime, also focusing more on my health.

Visual and Written Inspiration
"We're all going to die. Write that down, miss. We don't have the luxury of a thousand years on this earth. Only sixty, or maybe eighty little years if we're lucky. And these years pass in a flash. Why not offer flowers to your spouse every night? Why deprive yourself of the happiness of making your house a home? Why resist your impulse? Daily life is the most beautiful voyage..." - Louis Pauzé

I (Desire) Change: Thank You#links
I. Desire. Change. posted this today and I have been doing the work necessary to embody this. That's why my posts have been so infrequent(ha). I also posted the picture of Leontyne Price greeting her father after her debut at the Metropolitan Opera because how much did she have to stretch her mind to accomplish this in those days and times? I remain in awe of every ancestor who has gone before that had the audacity to stretch. I say me too, I will stretch as well.

Still Here
I am just working on some changes with the website and blog that will be unveiled shortly. Also enjoying my new schedule and making plans for the upcoming market season. I can tell you that now that I am part-time and working from home I have fresh flowers everywhere, it is amazing what happens when you slow the merry go round down and focus.
